Nope, my blog’s not dead.
Last month, I started writing Winx fanfiction. I wanted to finish this story by Valentine’s Day, but schoolwork — and nervousness — got in the way. Now I’m finally done…with the first chapter. Good grief.
As you can guess from the picture, “The Storm” is about Aisha and Nex. Expect most of my fanfics to be about them. No couple in this series has ever ignited my imagination as much as they do. They’re a treasure-trove of creative ideas waiting to be used to tell thrilling, clever, romantic, and even profound stories.
Let me guess: you think I’m exaggerating, right? Okay then. Give me a chance to show you why this couple’s so unique and powerful together.
My story takes place on Andros between seasons seven and eight, ignoring the comics (they’re not canon, anyway). Read the rest of this post
Many reputable sources, including TV Guide and Zap2It, list episode 14, “The Emperor’s Throne,” on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. EST. The episode’s description (from Zap2It):
The Winx start a movement to clean the trash from Gardenia’s beach; Tritannus and the Trix head to the Emperor’s Throne.
Nick hasn’t confirmed this yet. We’ll keep you updated on any changes!

Michael’s Winx Club
It’s been more than three years since I’ve done one of these, so it’s time to bring it back. (This is based on a segment from Entertainment Tonight.)
1. Episode 5X14 won’t air until next fall.
Lots of mixed information on this. On one hand, TV.com says the episode (which may be called “The Pillar of Light”) will air September 8, 2013.
JAKKS Pacific may have hinted at a fall air date in this Facebook status about the Harmonix dolls:
…all six magical Winx Club characters, Musa, Tecna, Bloom, Stella, Flora and Aisha will be part of our upcoming doll lines, including our very special Fall 2013 Sirenix Collection.
We just watched the Winx earn Sirenix last Sunday, so why would JAKKS wait so long to release the dolls? Unless they’re timing them with the show’s continuation. Makes sense.
On the other hand, the fan blog “Winx Club on Nickelodeon” unearthed a marketing schedule that claims season five will continue in February 2013. Marketing plans can change — and already have for this series — so we can’t take this as solid evidence yet.
Until the confusion’s cleared, I’m calling this a RUMOR. CLICK HERE TO READ THE REST OF THIS POST
That’s the latest from Licensing.biz. The new “Girls’ Month” article gives this timeline for Winx on Nickelodeon:
- Summer: The four one-hour specials, summarizing seasons one through three (not just the first two seasons, as first stated)
- Fall: Season four
- February 2012: Season five
The article also says “U.S. and U.K. toy deals are in the works.” If I had to guess who will pick up the toy license, I’d say Bandai, which currently has the rights for Pop Pixie. Regardless, it’s great that Winx merchandise will be back on American store shelves. I know what I want for my birthday. 🙂
