Michael gave me permission to share this screenshot from the World of Winx season two trailer. Thank you! 😀

As you can see, the Winx meet the Spirit of the Forest from season one again. While writing yesterday’s post, I had a line about her giving them the Onyrix power (Michael’s spelling, so I trust it), but I deleted it. The name has nothing to do with nature, so I thought I might be wrong.

This picture WinxClubRUS found makes me think I was right, after all (thank you to my affiliate GermanSirenix for identifying the source):

Compare her outfit with theirs. They have the same motifs: flowers, open-leg pants, and strips of fabric. I think it’s a good theory. Did she also give them Dreamix? That’s possible, too.

Now that we’ve seen all six Winx’s looks, what do you think of Onyrix?

Through ItalToys.it, we’ve gotten our first look at the new World of Winx toys and dolls coming out soon!

Forever Fashion

These are the Winx’s “trendy” outfits. The line includes all six Winx, and each doll comes with wings and a few accessories that match her talent.

Style Magic

These are the dresses the Winx wore in “The Fashion Week” (1X06) and “The Fall of the Queen” (1X13). The line includes all six Winx, and each doll comes with wings and a brush. I’m not sure why these are being marketed under Winx Club instead of World of Winx, though. If Rainbow decides to make dolls wearing some of the other random outfits, will they all be sold as budget Winx Club dolls?

Dreamix Fairy

This line includes all six Winx. Stella and Flora were previously revealed during the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February.

Action Spy

This light-up Bloom doll comes with a glove that allows you to interact with her.

Spy Camper

No one has found any pictures of the toy yet. According to ItalToys, it comes with binoculars, wings, a light-up bracelet, a whiteboard, a pen with a flashlight on it, and a table with a light-up map.

Winx fans also found a new doll from Winx Club, not World of Winx: the 35-in.-tall (90 cm.) My Bloom Tynix doll.

Okay…

Don’t worry. Like WinxClubRUS said, it’s probably a prototype. She looks more like Stella than Bloom! Plus, those are obviously her Butterflix wings, and her outfit doesn’t look accurate at all. Hopefully, we’ll see a better version of this doll later.

What do you think of these new dolls and toys?

As you know, I’ve stopped writing episode reviews. But last week, a Winx fan named Will N. emailed me with a suggestion: how about guest episode reviews? Why not? Great idea!

Here’s Will’s review of “Baby Winx” (7X20). If you’d like to submit an episode review, too, email it to [email protected].

Review of Episode 7X20: “Baby Winx”

By: Will N.

Quick Recap: Back on Earth again (yawn!). The Winx are helping Roxy with an animal show to benefit the rescue park. Meanwhile, Kalshara and Brafilius try to cause trouble in any way possible like always (yawn again!), still searching for that First Color of the Universe. (How long is this search gonna last? Even Ogron didn’t waste this long trying to accomplish his goals.) This time, however, it involves the Winx being turned into seven-year-olds, and circus hijinks ensue as part of the benefits program.

Observations

  • Brafilius actually doing something smart for once. Too bad he has to undo it almost immediately.
  • Well, I guess the people who said Butterflix was based off circus clowns were right 😛
  • Are the guys being designated babysitters now?
  • Roxy’s as sassy as ever. Where was she when we needed her?
  • Why does Sky have to fight with Bloom’s unicorn? What does Elas have that Sky doesn’t?
  • Well, at least that Etno Chic outfit wasn’t ditched after two episodes; it stuck around for 4.

Loose ends

  • Sky, you’re clueless to not believe that a 7 year old, who strongly looks like your fiancée and has a pet unicorn, is not your fiancée turned into a kid when you live in a magical world on a daily basis.
  • Kalshara, you should stop relying on your brother.
  • Apparently, power is not restricted by age. Must be something to do with Believix or Enchantix.
  • Quote: “Yeah, I can’t leave you alone for more than ten minutes.” Well said, Roxy. Well said.

Winx Club 7X25 - Aisha and Nex HuggingNope, my blog’s not dead.

Last month, I started writing Winx fanfiction. I wanted to finish this story by Valentine’s Day, but schoolwork — and nervousness — got in the way. Now I’m finally done…with the first chapter. Good grief. 😅

As you can guess from the picture, “The Storm” is about Aisha and Nex. Expect most of my fanfics to be about them. No couple in this series has ever ignited my imagination as much as they do. They’re a treasure-trove of creative ideas waiting to be used to tell thrilling, clever, romantic, and even profound stories.

Let me guess: you think I’m exaggerating, right? Okay then. Give me a chance to show you why this couple’s so unique and powerful together.

My story takes place on Andros between seasons seven and eight, ignoring the comics (they’re not canon, anyway). Read the rest of this post

Dreamix dolls - Stella and Flora

Credit goes to WinxClubRUS for sharing this news first!

The Nuremberg Toy Fair began today, and Witty Toys will be showing off new dolls based on World of Winx. According to ToyNews, those dolls will be the Dreamix collection, which will feature all six Winx, and a light-up Action-Spy doll that comes with a “special roleplay glove.”

ToyNews also reported the latest dolls Witty Toys launched (Tynix) were “the best-selling fashion doll[s] in Italy in November, based on revenue.” Go, Winx!

(Heads up: I’m gonna take another short break from talking about World of Winx, unless there’s big news.)

UPDATE: Animation Digital Digest posted a high-quality image of the Flora Dreamix doll. (Credit to WinxClubRUS again for finding it first.)
